A: Yes, you can renew and reserve books on line. Directions for both are below.
Renewing Books
1) Go to the Wauseon Public Library's iPak catalog, and click on the
My Account tab.
2) Next, enter your Barcode (from your library card) and your Pin (or the last 4 digits of your phone number).
3) In the Account Overview section, click the Items Out link.
4) Select the checkboxes of the items that you wish to renew. Then, click the Renew button.
If the items are available to be renewed, a new due date will be displayed.
If the items are not available to be renewed, you will receive a message in red indicating that your request was denied.
5) If you have additional questions regarding the renewal of items, please contact the Wauseon Public Library.
Reserving Books
1) Go to the Wauseon Public Library's iPak catalog, and use the Search feature to find the item.
2) Review the item Copy / Holding information to determine if your library has a copy of the item. If it does not, click either the:
- Request Any Copy button (above the Copy/Holding section)
( OR )
- Request This Copy link next to the item held at a specific library.
3) If you are not currently logged in, you will be prompted to enter your Barcode and Pin.
4) If the item is available for request, the browser will then be directed to the Request Confirmation screen. Review the details, select a notification method, then select the Request button.
5) If the request was successful, the browser displays a message indicating that your request has been successfully placed. From this screen, select either the Return to Searching or the Logout and Return button.
6) To view the status of your request, click on the My Account Tab.
7) In the Account Overview section, click the Hold Requests link.
8) In the Hold Requests section, you can check the status, change the status, as well as cancel your request.
